Business Analyst - Finance

Main responsibility

Reporting

- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power Bi, QlikView) that communicate complex data in a clear and concise format for various stakeholders across the organization, including delivery of financial weekly/monthly/annual reports to all appropriate parties.

- Create performance metrics (KPIs) to track progress towards business goals and identify areas for improvement.

- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to support decision-making processes

Digital Solution Development:

- Design and develop digital solutions that meet business requirements. 

- Assisting Finance & Accounting teams in providing research and training to users for effective use of Finance applications.

- Knowledgeable in regards to front to back investment banking infrastructure is a plus.

- Develop and document current state and processing flows.

- Liaise with software vendor /IT developers to communicate data sourcing requirements and current/future state architecture.

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all data solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Collaborate with IT developers to transform oversea offices local software to the same platform.

- Understand the connecting mechanism (Evoice, E-DO, E-Bill) to governments or tax authorization agency.

- Cooperation with accounting and finance department work with local and international banks for cash management, virtual accounts, smart payments and the most up-to date method for banking.

- Work closely with business users to understand their data and reporting needs.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions.

- Provide training and support to stakeholders on how to use data tools.

Performance Monitoring

- Monitor the performance of digital solutions and optimize them for efficiency.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality and accuracy.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data tools and data sources

Data Governance

- Implement and enforce data governance policies and best practices.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

- Document data processes, data models, and technical specifications.

Continuous Improvement

- Stay up-to-date with the latest data tools, technologies, and industry trends.

- Identify opportunities for improving data processes and solutions.

- Participate in data-related projects and initiatives to enhance the company's data capabilities.

Requirement

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Professional certification in BI or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus

- 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.

- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power DATA, QlikView...,).

- Solid experience in writing SQL queries and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.

- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
